From Horace to Coleridge, Rimbaud to Akbar, the “milk of paradise” led to masterworks, while addiction sinks ambition and destroys lives. In this stellar panel, award-winning poets, including a poet-neuroscientist, explore up front and personal the swerve from inspiration to ruination. They will explore addiction in self, family, lovers, and friends, as well as the seductive intimacy of shared intoxication. FREE, $5-10 suggested donation
