Two Bay Area literary legends (and old friends) share the stage to talk about their recent memoirs, the writing life, and whatever else suits their fancy. Bestselling author of The Joy Luck Club and The Valley of Amazement, Amy Tan now brings us Where the Past Begins. And Armistead Maupin, whose series Tales of the City helped change our cultural conversation about being gay in America, has just released the paperback edition of Logical Family. $15 adv / $20 door
