Casey Gardner is a high school English teacher and former national slam poet. She has also spent time as a creative literacy educator and slam poetry coach. Her poetry currently exists in three self-published chapbooks and Sweet Wolverine: A Collection. Her work is also upcoming in the anthology We've Been Too Patient from North Atlantic Press. A few of her favorite things are linguistics, philosophy, spiritual awakenings, cats, red wine, and queer feminist tomboy fellowship.
