Kristin Kaye
KRISTIN KAYE is an award-winning author, ghostwriter and teacher whose work sits at the intersection of nature, narrative and spirituality. Her most recent book,
Tree Dreams: A Novel, has given gave rise to a global tree tagging campaign that celebrates the myriad ways we are connected to each other, to nature and to our future. Tree Dreams tags now hang in over 20 states and 12 countries around the world.
Kristin has taught workshops across the U.S. including at the National Science Teachers Association, the Delaware Green Schools Alliance and at the Young Artists Institute at Southern Oregon University.
Kristin’s previous work includes
Iron Maidens: The Celebration of the Most Awesome Female Muscle in the World, which details her experience directing twenty-five of the world’s strongest and most muscular women in an off-Broadway show. The book was a finalist for the Oregon Book Awards, and described by
Utne Readeras “one of 5 new titles for women who resist easy definition.”
Kristin is a member of the
SF Writer’s Grotto and lives in the folds of Mt. Tam in Northern California with her husband, daughter and little dog Geo.
